ARA enters ESTAMPA with our program created for young collectors Ágora/ ARA get inside ESTAMPA with our young program “Ágora” for young collectors.
Once again this year, ESTAMPA, the Contemporary Art Fair that marks Madrid’s autumn, takes place in pavilion 4 of IFEMA. With 31 editions behind it, this fair brings together a total of one hundred galleries of all categories, but always betting on gallery owners and young artists/but always supporting for younger galerist and artist.
In its program, ESTAMPA seeks to promote national and international collecting, which includes the acquisition of prizes awarded by different institutions. In this regard, at ARA, we believe that it is the new generations and their budding collectors who will lead the collecting of the future. This is how our Ágora project was born.
Ágora seeks to create a place where new generations of collectors, artists, gallery owners, curators and art lovers can create synergies. Likewise, it seeks to promote current trends since through art ideas, sensations and feelings are exchanged; the reflection of our society is reflected.
The program, designed for this new profile, has consisted of a series of activities both inside and outside the fair, specifically designed to guarantee a unique experience.
In this way, lively guided tours have been carried out by different galleries focused on promoting interest in the art of these young people, such as the one carried out by the guys from Sistema Studio, Jorge Fernández and Álvaro González, titled “From the hand of a collector” . On the other hand, as in an Ágora, a space for exchange and debate, a round table moderated by the co-founders of the agency Federica Iozzia and Ludovica Cadario was presented together with the young people Antonio Yera- auction director Maza Art, Gabriela Vera- Art Advisor and founding collector of El Castillete and Diego Rodriguez Villa – Incipient collector.
Finally, we made a visit outside the fairgrounds to the headquarters of the Aldebarán Collection guided by the collector himself, which concluded with a cocktail in a wonderful Madrid penthouse.
